We’ve introduced a couple of helpful improvements to make your experience smoother and more flexible during daily usage.
Delete Past Sessions 🗑️
Managing your session history is now easier.
If a session was started by mistake or is no longer needed, you can now delete it directly from Recent Sessions. Simply click on the delete icon, confirm your action in the popup, and the session will be removed.
This helps you keep your session list clean and relevant, without clutter from unwanted recordings.
Auto Language Detection 🌐
We’ve also made language selection smarter.
Once you enable auto-detect language in your default preferences, EkaScribe will automatically detect the input language based on your system or speech. This means you no longer need to manually select the input language every time you start a session.
It makes the workflow faster and more seamless—especially for users who switch between languages frequently.
We’ve significantly improved the editing experience on the EkaScribe website to make it faster, smoother, and more intuitive during real usage.
Earlier, editing your consultation output was a step-by-step process. You had to click edit on each section, make changes, save it, and then repeat the same for other sections. This not only took extra time but also interrupted your flow while reviewing notes.
With this update, we’ve introduced inline editing across the entire output.
Now, you can simply click anywhere in the document, make changes across multiple sections in one go, and save everything together. There’s no need to edit and save repeatedly for each section.
This makes the overall experience much more seamless—helping you quickly review, edit, and finalize your documentation without unnecessary steps or interruptions.
We’ve enhanced EkaScribe’s ability to understand tapering dosage instructions, making prescriptions more accurate and closer to your actual consultation.
Now, when you describe dosage changes over time—like “take three times a day for 3 days, then twice daily for 2 days, then SOS”—EkaScribe can intelligently interpret this and structure it correctly in the final prescription. It automatically breaks down the schedule into proper dosage steps instead of capturing it as plain text.
Earlier, such complex instructions were often missed or required manual correction in the EMR. With this update, tapering plans are now clearly reflected, reducing the need for edits and ensuring safer, more precise prescriptions.

We’ve simplified how you begin a session so you can start faster during consultations.
Now, preferences and recording are in one place - no extra steps or clicks. This makes it easier to begin instantly, with a cleaner layout that helps you focus on the patient while EkaScribe handles the documentation.
Integration Visibility 🔗
We’ve added a new Integration section so you always know which EMR is connected.
Now, instead of selecting integration template, you can instantly see your active integration (like Eka EMR) right on the main screen. This not only brings more clarity to your workflow but also helps us tailor your configurations and overall experience based on the EMR you’re using, making the journey more seamless during consultations. Additionally, option to select additional templates based on your notes requirement, specialisation remain same which you choose from Output Formats.
Microphone Selection on Home Screen 🎙️
You can now see and select your microphone directly from the home screen, making recording more reliable and predictable.
With the active mic clearly visible, there’s no more confusion about which device is being used. This gives you better control during consultations and helps you quickly switch or troubleshoot if needed, without interrupting your workflow.
Updates & Personalised Insights 💫
You’ll now notice a dedicated updates section on the home screen, so you’re always aware of what’s improving.
Instead of searching for updates, you can now discover new features and enhancements (like speed improvements) right within your workflow, keeping you informed without interrupting your consultations.

Smarter Template & Output Experience 🧩
We’ve made templates easier and more powerful:
The “Create Template” option is now part of Output Format selection, making it more contextual
You can now convert templates instantly directly from the output screen.
This means less switching and faster documentation.
A Better Recording Experience 🎙️
Recording now feels more interactive and reliable.
With live waveform visualisation, you can instantly see that your audio is being captured, giving you more confidence during consultations. The improved recording UI also makes controls like pause and end session clearer and easier to use, so you stay in control without breaking your flow.
📂 A Completely Redesigned Output Screen
This is one of the biggest upgrades in this release.
Transcription is now shown by default, no need to select it manually
Output formats are now displayed side-by-side instead of a dropdown, making switching faster
Quick actions like copy to EMR or clipboard are more accessible
Overall, reviewing and using your consultation output is now much smoother.

From here, you can easily share feedback, report issues, or visit the help centre - without leaving your workflow or interrupting your consultation.
Model Improvements 🤖
We’ve improved how EkaScribe understands dosage instructions during consultations.
Now, if you mention tapering/adjusting dosage verbally, the system will correctly capture it and reflect it in the final prescription. Earlier, this was often missed, so this update ensures more accurate and complete documentation without extra effort from your side.

We’ve introduced support for capturing IPD admission advice through EkaScribe, making your documentation more complete and reliable.
Now, whenever you mention admission during a consultation, EkaScribe will automatically detect it and display it in the output. This ensures that critical decisions like IPD admission advice are never missed and are properly recorded.
Additionally, when you copy the generated output to the EMR pad, this information is seamlessly carried forward and marked as “Advised”, helping maintain consistency across your workflow.
This enhancement is designed to reduce manual effort and ensure important clinical decisions are accurately documented without any extra steps.
Note: To use this feature, please ensure that the IPD admission section is configured in your EMR pad. Once added, the admission advice will automatically appear in your final output.
